update & heaps of thank youssss..

think that i need and i should get things updated.
been back in the uk for exactly one week and have been receiving the love and support that i needed form friends and lecturers. thank you very much.
a special thank to inted staffs, especially paul and sarah, for being able to provide help at the moment i needed most. thank you for everything, from the booking of the flight ticket to the transport arrangement. excellent job. thank you very much.
malaysian fest was a success, few hiccups here and there but still managed to pull it through. felt good that the people who came saw how hard it was to make the display for the malay wedding a success and a beautiful one. thanks to all those who have helped and sorry to all those who have to bear with my two hours of hangin-ness just before malaysian fest. i’ll leave you with a picture of the malay wedding display.

happy to see pak cik bo and atuk paul aka pak cik gambar of royal mail (sorry, no picture of them sitting at the dais) at the show and again they told us how enjoyable those three weeks were when we were working with them. good news, they want us to apply for the job again if possible. thank you again.
had just called home a few hours ago. everyone is doing good, i can tell. had talked to mama and felt relieved that she was able to laugh again. proud of you, mama. strong as ever. =). thank you to mama, along, jaja and adek for being strong. thank you very much.

enjoice~~~

nothing really..

i know i want to write something down..i want to get this blog updated..but i haven’t got a clue on what to write..it’s time for holiday again here in marjon..hehe..feels like we are sent to uk to spend some time ‘holidaying’ rather than studying..

as soon as i had my assignment printed out and handed in..i was on a marathon..prison break marathon that is..i finished all 45 episodes (2 seasons) of prison break in 5 days..hahaha..i was glued to my chair for almost 8 hours when i was watching season 1..8 episodes non-stop..gaban giler k..and know i don’t know how to kill time since i have watched all of the episodes..any ideas guys? re-run? watch prison break all over again?

on monday, i had a shopping trip to the city centre..it’s been a few weeks since i last spent some money on things that i really want..the last time i went to the city i was hopping to get a handbag that i’ve really wanted but later realised that the shop does not sell that handbag anymore..and so when i saw this floral handbag at new look, i didn’t think much, i put it on my shoulder and browsed through other things in the shop and then have it paid..went to primak after that and saw another handbag and it was only GBP4..4 pound wont hurt anyway..the next thing i know, i was lining up at the till to have it paid..so, 2 handbags in one shopping trip..berkat kesabaran x dapat handbag hr tuh..hehehe..

so another 2 and a half weeks to go before class starts..any ideas how to spend the holiday?

keriangan yang tidak terhingga~~

yay..i will be home for the summer..the reason for keriangan yang tak terhingga..found a cheaper ticket (less than GBP500)..alhamdulillah..can’t stop smiling now..heee heeeee…can’t wait for july to come.. 😀

just last week, i was involved with the islamic experience in torquay..i was a steward for four days and i travelled on the train to torquay every day.. i was in charge of the Five Pillars of Islam section..basically, what i need to do was explain to the school children about the Five Pillars, demonstrate the Wudhu’ or ablution and show them what people wear when they in ihram..alhamdulillah, i did not face any problem or what so ever..it was indeed a great experience..having to work with children and being able to talk about Islam..and also being able to work with Muslims who are of different culture..it was great meeting them..

what i want to talk about is a guy on the third day of me being a steward..he is from a secondary school and this school was putting a lot of interest in knowing about Islam including him..even from the first session, he was giving a lot of cooperation..he helped Aini to read a verse from the Quran..he gave his own opinion about Sawm when i was explaining about the reasons for fasting in the month of Ramadhan..he tried some clothes on..and when the group was in Brother Ali’s section, he talked to Brother Mohammed about his name in Arabic and how is it spelled..what made our day was his answer that he wrote in the evaluation form..

‘I also learn that Islam makes a lot of sense.

personally, i was touched with what he has wrote..he made our day..all of us felt that we had achieve the purpose of the exhibition..that we have changed one’s perception on Islam..people have perceive Islam with a lot of things, associate the Muslims with terrorism and many more..i am really glad this is what he thinks of Islam..and not anything else..

the nicest people to work with..
