Of telekung and Casper the friendly ghost.

This week is a Freshers’ Week in Marjon and it seems that the local students have been partying and drunk all night every night. We had our teraweh in one of the classrooms and while praying, we heard drunken guys singing down on the road. So, yesterday, during moreh after the teraweh, Ejat was asking each and everyone of us to be extra careful since every Wednesday night is a gathering night for all the sports students and it’s freshers’ week anyway. It’s definite that drunk people are gonna be everywhere. Then, one of the Cohort 3s were saying that they’ve been called Jesus by these local students. It was either that the local students were drunk at that time, or just simply because we had our telekung on for teraweh. We laughed upon hearing the story and I simply said, “If that happened again some other time, tell them we are not Jesus, we are just Casper the friendly ghost.

*roll on the floor laughing*
