a few months ago, i thought of joining the kelana convoy for a tour around Europe.. the organiser offers a reasonably good price for a 15-days tour that cover 9 countries but it does not cover everything..there are some things that you have to pay when u get there..and so i talked to my mom over it..she asked me to think deeply because both of us know that the trip will definitely be tiring (since i suffered from fever and an asthma attack during a short four days trip, both my parents are quite concerned of me going away for such a long time) and money will be an issue..after a few weeks, i made up my mind that i’m not up for it..and so i told my dad yesterday over the phone..he agreed with me and then he said, ‘if you are spending that much on a trip, and your health is in concern, might as well you come home for the summer’.. HOME??!! i have planned not to go home over this period of two years..but when he mentioned home, i know i wanted to be home..i quickly asked him, ‘if i want to go home, can i get some sponsorship (PAMA, that is) for the ticket?’..and he said, ‘well, you do your research on the prices first, and then you tell me what are your plans, we’ll talk over it’..i spent a few hours on the computer looking for cheap, reasonable flight tickets and bus tickets to the airport..i know that if i want to show both my parents that i really wanted to be home, i must have a detailed, well organised plan..and this is what i came up with last night..

i called home at midnight and gave them my plan..i told them that i have put everything into considerations including money..and then my dad asked, ‘so how much you want from us?’..with a wide grin i said, ‘i’ll pay 300 and you pay the rest, no, 350, huurmmm, eh no, ok, i’m willing to pay 400’..then i added, ‘if i have to pay for all the cost, i think i can do that, but, i will definitely be in a very tight budget’..and then he asked, ‘do any of your friends are going home as well?’..i told him that there are some, maybe, but if i have to travel alone, i wouldn’t mind..my dad is convinced, but then he told me to give him a week to think over and over that period of one week, i have to find a better deal on the tickets, look for friends who want to go home as well and get in touch with my sister and seniors about where i can find better rates for the ticket..
now, i am really determined with my plan..i just have to wait for another week..and then everything will be confirmed.. 😀
