Finally, an update..hehehe..tahap ke-mim-lam-sin-an yg amat sgt..anyway..last week, during IT lesson, Mike introduced some graphic softwares..ohhh mmg best k, main lukis2 ni..perasaan nyer same mcm when you were in standard 2, ur seni teacher bg a blank paper and ask to draw aper2 la yg kite nak..main seni2..heheh..so after an hour of how to use those softwares (termasuk sesi tersengguk2 menahan ngantuk smpi kene gelak ngan member, ade yg smpi belikan keropok suruh mkn sbb kesian, hahahhaha!!-it’s not my fault..sape suruh letak kelas after lunch..) and another two hours of using those softwares, inilah yg berjaya dihasilkan..

it was a year ago..

a group of students stepped on the Marjon ground..

for the first time..

they have worked hard through out the whole year..

lots of thing were learnt..

and more things to learn..

through laughter and tears..

they have been together..

tones of experiences gained..

that they matured in their own way..

some changed, some don’t

but

a year later..

in the same chilly weather..

the same smiles greet each other..

balik oh balik~~

i gave my parents a call last nite..my dad asked me to call before i went to bed to talk about the tickets that i have bought..he was pretty satisfied with the price and arrangement..and then i talked to my mom..she was kinda excited i believe..she started to tell me to be careful when travelling..ask anyone if you need any help..follow the flight number that was given..she was saying all this thing when she suddenly realised that there will be another five months before i will be on my way home..’eh..ckp2 mcm nk balik esok lusa jer..lama lagi kan..’ eleh mama…excited la tu org nk balik..hii heeeeee..

alhamdulillah, the ticket was only GBP460.10..i told my mom that insyaallah i will try my best to survive with the money left in my account..and i’m gonna use my own money for the ticket and everything..there is no need for both my parents to pay partially or anything like that..relieve sungguh mama..takpe lah maa, alin balik pon nk jumpe family..so tak kesah la pakai duit berapa pon.. 🙂

and so..i’m counting the days..

keriangan yang tidak terhingga~~

yay..i will be home for the summer..the reason for keriangan yang tak terhingga..found a cheaper ticket (less than GBP500)..alhamdulillah..can’t stop smiling now..heee heeeee…can’t wait for july to come.. 😀

just last week, i was involved with the islamic experience in torquay..i was a steward for four days and i travelled on the train to torquay every day.. i was in charge of the Five Pillars of Islam section..basically, what i need to do was explain to the school children about the Five Pillars, demonstrate the Wudhu’ or ablution and show them what people wear when they in ihram..alhamdulillah, i did not face any problem or what so ever..it was indeed a great experience..having to work with children and being able to talk about Islam..and also being able to work with Muslims who are of different culture..it was great meeting them..

what i want to talk about is a guy on the third day of me being a steward..he is from a secondary school and this school was putting a lot of interest in knowing about Islam including him..even from the first session, he was giving a lot of cooperation..he helped Aini to read a verse from the Quran..he gave his own opinion about Sawm when i was explaining about the reasons for fasting in the month of Ramadhan..he tried some clothes on..and when the group was in Brother Ali’s section, he talked to Brother Mohammed about his name in Arabic and how is it spelled..what made our day was his answer that he wrote in the evaluation form..

‘I also learn that Islam makes a lot of sense.‘

personally, i was touched with what he has wrote..he made our day..all of us felt that we had achieve the purpose of the exhibition..that we have changed one’s perception on Islam..people have perceive Islam with a lot of things, associate the Muslims with terrorism and many more..i am really glad this is what he thinks of Islam..and not anything else..

a few months ago, i thought of joining the kelana convoy for a tour around Europe.. the organiser offers a reasonably good price for a 15-days tour that cover 9 countries but it does not cover everything..there are some things that you have to pay when u get there..and so i talked to my mom over it..she asked me to think deeply because both of us know that the trip will definitely be tiring (since i suffered from fever and an asthma attack during a short four days trip, both my parents are quite concerned of me going away for such a long time) and money will be an issue..after a few weeks, i made up my mind that i’m not up for it..and so i told my dad yesterday over the phone..he agreed with me and then he said, ‘if you are spending that much on a trip, and your health is in concern, might as well you come home for the summer’.. HOME??!! i have planned not to go home over this period of two years..but when he mentioned home, i know i wanted to be home..i quickly asked him, ‘if i want to go home, can i get some sponsorship (PAMA, that is) for the ticket?’..and he said, ‘well, you do your research on the prices first, and then you tell me what are your plans, we’ll talk over it’..i spent a few hours on the computer looking for cheap, reasonable flight tickets and bus tickets to the airport..i know that if i want to show both my parents that i really wanted to be home, i must have a detailed, well organised plan..and this is what i came up with last night..

i called home at midnight and gave them my plan..i told them that i have put everything into considerations including money..and then my dad asked, ‘so how much you want from us?’..with a wide grin i said, ‘i’ll pay 300 and you pay the rest, no, 350, huurmmm, eh no, ok, i’m willing to pay 400’..then i added, ‘if i have to pay for all the cost, i think i can do that, but, i will definitely be in a very tight budget’..and then he asked, ‘do any of your friends are going home as well?’..i told him that there are some, maybe, but if i have to travel alone, i wouldn’t mind..my dad is convinced, but then he told me to give him a week to think over and over that period of one week, i have to find a better deal on the tickets, look for friends who want to go home as well and get in touch with my sister and seniors about where i can find better rates for the ticket..
now, i am really determined with my plan..i just have to wait for another week..and then everything will be confirmed.. 😀
